This is a two piece beat combo from San Diego, Home of some good stuff.
Having had a little look up of them they have been described as krautrock-ish. Now I don’t know what kraut-rock is really, but in my mind it does sort of sound like this sounds, so if you want a description by someone who doesn’t really know if the description is actually correct then go with that kraut-rock description. There are bits that remind me of Navies though.
Most of it is instrumental apart from the last song, which personally I like the best. This must be because I’m the kind of neanderthal who doesn’t understand music without singing in it. Nah that not true. I like Vangelis ( well when he’s played by Matt Berry anyway). They just sing well and it sounds good in that song. I like the rest of the record, good stuff.
