College rock is just indie bands who are American, right? Would Milky Wimpshake be college rock if they were American? I would say that’s what this is. A bit of ‘Americana’ in there (that’s another one of those genres that I don’t know for certain if I’ve ever heard but I sort of guess what it means), in that’s there’s a country feel to it. I guess there are hints of Pavement here and there, but you know, not as great as that band.
I don’t know what to say about it beyond that really. I mean there is nothing that is blowing my mind out. There is definitely a couple of good songs though, Frozen Dozing is ok. My girlfriend has just started shouting at me that this band is rubbish. I don’t think they are that bad, but if you like Suede, the Misfits and Def Leppard you might not like it.
