Two songs? Come back when you have recorded some more. Because these two songs are great! See what I did there, with my introductory sentences? Very clever wasn’t it? Ok, Whales may only have bothered to write two songs, but fortunately these two songs are lovely “” great big voluminous space rockers, all chilled out and drifting amongst the stars, destined to come out of cryogenic storage in approximately 30 years time, having reached the outer limits of the solar system (but things are not quite what they seem…) I do like that Whales called themselves Whales, and see fit to name their songs “Adrift” and “Seafaring”, although this would appear to limit themselves to nautical themes, which is a bit restrictive given the amount of atmosphere they ooze. This is definitely the kind of gazing at shoes that I can get behind.
Maigin Blank goes oooh.
