Excuse the late-in-the-day review, but Czech grinders Needful Things or their label were nice enough to throw their 2005 effort in the same jiffy bag as their latest grindstrosity. So here we are, better late than never. Everything is absolutely on-point and unrelenting: guitars are a thick murky surge; drums are an endless clatter and the vocals a series of clogged-up exhortations occasionally leant furious help from the Lycanthropy vocalist. The final track is a Napalm Death cover which should give you enough of an idea as to where these savage bastards are coming from, but if not think Nasum, Phobia, Insect Warfare and Terrorizer-worshipping brutalists like 324. Well worth the effort if annihilation is what you seek.
