Gruff shouting hardcore. Not gruff punk, thank god.
If you took the beatdown yelling of NYHC, and mixed it with the angrier end of the gruff punk roster. Maybe like that band Young Livers but tougher sounding, a bit of that band OK Pilot but less post hardcore, and a heavy sprinkle of Planes Mistaken For Stars in there.
Hey it is pretty good, I prefer my screaming more throat shredding or weepy than low and manly. I believe it is supposed to come out on tape, and I think it would sound good on that. They should contact OK Pilot and sort out a tour, their bass player would wet himself over them.
