Izah - Fire Walk With Us - Split - CD (2012)

You have to be careful who and what you reference and using a slight variation on something connected to one of the most innovative and well-loved television series of the last thirty years is a very poor start. However, let us not fall into the trap of judging the music by the name the musicians have chosen to best represent it “” I made that mistake with Bobby Joe Ebola and the Chicken McNuggets and ended up with egg all over my stupid face on that occasion.

Unfortunately, the music here recorded is rather similar to what one might expect from a band choosing to partially name themselves after a David Lynch film, namely, horrendously derivative of any one of a 10000 other black metal bands who have wasted people’s time in The Unicorn, The Purple Turtle or The Underworld over the years.

And the packaging rips off “œZeit” by Tangerine Dream.
