These guys have a huge infatuation with cigarette smoking – right from the band name through to the name of the tape and on to the cover itself. They play some surfy and lo-fi garage punk that owes plenty to 60s rock n roll with its harmonies and swinging feel. They apparently met outside a liquor store in California. Drinking and smoking come up frequently in the lyrics. It’s nicely rough around the edges – nothing over-polished about this one. I think it’d be fair to describe it as snotty too – particularly vocally. If you like this there is a whole load more where this came from on their bandcamp page.
