A weary looking moose protrudes a rocky cliff face, grey stormy clouds closing the sky. This sets the scene for Wishing Well’s take on heavy metal. I want to say it’s Motorhead inspired (one song is about Lemmy) but really I’m clutching at straws because I avoid this kind of music as much as possible. It’s incredibly old-school, with guitar solos all over the shop, one song called ‘Boys Will Be Boys’, and incredibly cliched lyrics. I think that’s the point though – it’s a tribute to classic bands from the past. If that’s what your after then it’s a solid job overall.
