Four tracks of short, sharp, crisply-played punk from three guys who played in some other bands. There’s a definite Negative Approach (LP, rather than 7″) vibe running throughout with the vocalist giving it some serious John Brannon welly and these lump-fisted hc influences are met head-on with some surly rawk n’ roll action that brings Zeke to mind. While this ensures several of the right boxes are ticked there’s nevertheless something – maybe the cleanliness of sound, maybe the businesslike way things are delivered – that prevents me giving this ‘un my wholehearted backing, but, hey, judging by the sounds of things these guys are having way too much fun to give much of a fuck about my qualms anyway.
