Rabbits? Rabbits! Cute! Fluffy! Adorable snuffling noses! Right? Right?! Wrong. Dead wrong. This lot are more the puff-eyed, myxomatosis-ridden kind; less Bugs Bunny and more the malevolent black spectre weaving its wicked way through the Watership Down cartoon. That their latest album is on Unsane’s record label is pretty apt, since it’s a fugly, roiling noise-rock slab that certainly owes a nod or two to Chris Spencer’s longstanding manglers. That’s not to say they’re a straight-up rip, however, their lumpen, aggro racket seeming less like brains smeared across grey city streets than waking up drunk and wondering just where the hell the night went: a woozy, uncertain type of pounding that makes the floor roll and the ceiling spin. It’s ugly, viscous and uncertain, and you should be definitely giving this a whirl (and checking them out while on tour with Årabrot) if you dig yer noise-rock and think you have the stomach for it.
