This, right here, is some seriously virulent hardcore. Everything sounds totally overloaded, to the point where things frequently collapse inward ‘neath the weight of fuzz, feedback and GARGHHHbled vocals and become little more than a painfully incoherent – but thoroughly enjoyable – bludgeoning. While in hock to no one band I detect whiffs of Infest, Negative Approach and Running For Cover amid the chaos, and it’s about as face-smashingly intense as you could possible hope the sum of those bands to be – perhaps unsurprising for an act comprising folks who’ve played in bands as great (and as varied) as Los Crudos, Calvary, MK Ultra and The Pine.
