Domino / Denunzio / Deep Six Bob.
Basically the version of Infest that has been doing the rounds for however long.
While I’m admittedly lukewarm about seeing a hardcore band perform songs they wrote 30 years ago, this thing, as a current and going concern, absolutely rips.
The parts you’d expect are all there. These people know what they’re doing, after all.
What you mightn’t expect is the sheer sense of head-to-wall rage and desperation. It gouts out all over the place. like something being forcibly purged from the system.
It’s almost like life somehow didn’t get better for any of these people, and that the things that stuck in their craw all those years ago are still firmly lodged there. Stinking and festering. Impossible to shift.
In some ways it’s reassuring. But at the same time you have to worry deeply about what your own future might hold.
