Here we go! This is well up my street. Definitely a bit of Slint, but also a bit of Kolya, given that it bends off in an emo kind of fashion, particularly on “Pocket” when the vocals build and build into frantic shouts and the music fades off into noise and feedback. Just a two piece at play but they have built up quite a sound between them. It has quite a claustrophobic atmosphere at times, filling in all the gaps, not really letting things settle or rest. Really good start, hope they keep at it.
