Gonna cut to the chase here: this band’s fucking ace. The LP and various 7″s all ripped it up and this thankfully follows suit, praps a little crisper and cleaner round the edges than previous efforts but with its spirit intact and bile by the bucketload. The basic crux is ultra-fast, ultra-snotty, nailgun-to-the-face hardcore, but there’s a dose of something odd and disjointed creeping through that recalls Raped Teenagers or Angry Red Planet which means things’re never going to descend into a mire of throwaway three-chord bluster. Further raising the band’s game is the singer’s furious yet sarcastic delivery, whose riled-up tirades (the contents of which include, amongst other things, a spot of Bl’ast! homage and a forlorn ode to classic video games) are spat out in manner reminiscent of End Of The Century Party’s Eric Owens. Love it!
