Aged Yummy - Let's Connect Dots - CD (2010)

Sometimes you don’t need to sing. Just reciting and articulating with abrupt pauses over really basic, under three minute, lo-fi structures can be just fine. No problems if you’re using the same formula with different ingredients. I’m okay with that. I imagine these lads play at art shows. The really obscure ones. Like at someone’s attic where the organizers send a mass text message half hour before the show. Or at that secret multi-purpose space in between shops you never thought existed. Or perhaps, at a personal mini-zine launch in a school parking lot. Those kind. Cos they’re not loud and they’re not noisy. They’re decent. And a little bit awkward. And just uhm, fine. Not something to write home about but hey, I’ll go see them for sure if they get me in for free. Really.
