Saligia are ex-a whole host of modern German screamo bands and their sound immediately slots right in; where exactly in the spectrum I’m not sure but does that really matter; we have that interesting combination of melody and someone trying to rip your face off. The positives; it’s good! The negatives; it doesn’t hit the heights of numerous other bands on the React With Protest roster. I remember being underwhelmed by the first record of Lentic Waters (of which Saligia contain some members) but then being blown away live. I imagine the same would happen here – so keep going.
