Dead Now are ex-Torche and, well, sound uncommonly like Torche. Hard not to I guess when you’re powered by booming low-end thunk and those smearily melodic vocals, but this time around there’s also a tasteful dash of classic 70s rock to be found. The overriding vibe is Torche (yes, again, sorry) colliding with a less shit Red Fang, and while there are only five tracks to be getting on with they’re packed with enough wholesome riffs to keep you chewing things over until the next one drops.
