Hot on the heels of their excellent ‘Perfect Texture’ LP comes this bite-sized chunk from Geld, and true to form it’s a right bloody ripper. Somehow seeming more awful in this small, concentrated dose, the band’s sound is capable of blistering skin at 20 paces: a trebly, unhinged mess apparently stitched together from half-remembered nightmare fragments. Yes, of course, the backbone to it all is D-beat, but instead of anything rote or routine it’s almost like Disclose had tried their hand at deconstructing some Angel Hair tracks while on a drug-smashed free jazz kick. Utterly horrible, but utterly wonderful with it!
