Another bout of agreeable grumble from Neolithic, wherein they mash together hardcore, crust and death metal. Much of the time they barrel breathlessly along, but there are moments in tracks like ‘Perdition Chaser’ and the standout ‘Entropy Of Totality’ where things slow down to a mean chug and open up like a some carnivorous plant so you can understand the total unbridled horror of it all. Dotted about the place are slices of noise courtesy of Dylan Walker (Full Of Hell) and Kevin Bernsten (Triac) which enhance rather than distract, fleshing out the strongest release yet from these misanthropic Maryland maulers.
