Reek Minds are really onto something here: a mad, scrabbling, utterly uncomfortable brand of hardcore that offers not one whit of peace or solace. Razorwire guitar lines slice and snag while acid-drenched vocals gargle uncontrollably, and it all barrels along at impossible, neck-snapping speeds. Annoyingly the key comparisons I want to make – No Comment, Die Kreuzen, Siege – are all mentioned on the label’s Bandcamp page (thanks a million, mates), but since I recently dug out some old, underrated 625 Thrash 7”s by No Dice and Rosenbombs I’m also going to be an obscurist twat and lob those in as suitable points of reference. Brilliant!
