Six minutes of explosive, snub-nosed hardcore that balances breakneck brevity with aggro, fist-in-the-air melodies. The sloppy, yell-along vibe and slurred vocals belie some definite songwriting sharps, suggesting as much of a fondness for Circle Jerks and The Angry Samoans as flat-out ragers like The Fix. It’s a superb concoction, and quite an entrance to make as a band – the follow-up tape sold out before I could get to it, so here’s hoping that one gets slapped onto some sort of vinyl as well.
