Fast, sloppy, blown-out hardcore that values spirit and world-on-fire mania over technical ability. Hard to argue with that mindset, especially when the seven tracks here crash and blunder like drunken, unrehearsed outtakes from the ‘Equalizing Distort’ sessions. It’s a frightful mess, but it’s also absolutely exhilarating – I’ve gotta try to track down a copy of the first 7″ now, haven’t I?
