I’m bored with normal reviews. They suck, so i’m going to do this one like this.
Reasons to dislike this record:
– This was put out as a demo ages ago. Therefore the quality is a bit fucked, and i’m not sure how much good a representation it is of the band today.
– They play whimpering ’emo’ rock.
– There are a few emo style backpacks in the photos. (To anyone that knows me, yes I have a backpack too, but this is totally different).
Reasons to like this record:
– Carver have some pretty good songs.
– This band were great when I saw them live (a year after they recorded this).
– It’s only a fiver.
There you go. It’s a bit hit and miss, but recent live shows and a split with Sunfactor prove that Carver aren’t bad, and this was recorded when the band were a 4 peice. You could do worse.
