Daymare - s/t - 7

I got an mp3 of this about six months ago, I didn’t have time to listen to it, so I wacked it on my minidisk player and walked off to work. How pleasantly suprised was I? Daymare play fucking fantastic melodic and dark hardcore with female desperate French(!) vocals, and deep throaty male vocals. Musically this is dark and brutal with some slower parts, the first From Ashes Rise LP comes to mind quite a bit here! There is five tracks on this record all quite similar but once you hear the first tune you will understand why that is a good thing. The artwork for this is cheesy as anything, its a black cover with a white circle with the bands name round the outside, if you know anything about punk you will know exactly what I mean here! This then folds out into a lyric sheet, written out three times, French, English and Spanish (i think?!) The lyrics themselves are negi to the max, all about humans being shit etc. good. The way I like it! the lyric sheet also folds out into a cool black and white photo of JFKs coffin, I think, something dark and brutal anyways. I really want this band to come and play in the UK!
