A record to play in the background when you’ve got a couple of friends over for the night and you’re sitting around on the floor, not really talking or even doing much. Just mellowing out on midnight air, waiting for the joint to come around and sippin’ on herbal tea and the likes. The intro of opening track “˜Guilt is Universal’ is highly reminiscent of Goatsnake’s “˜Flower of Disease’ but then veers into 70’s psychedelic rock and they do this for the rest and get all sludgy and spacy which is very much apparent in “˜Full Light’. Then they just drone out towards the end and you don’t really notice it until it’s absolutely silent and you reach out for Black Sabbath’s “˜Fairies Wear Boots’ which I did and it put me in a slightly better mood.
