So this is pretty solid. Fast, heavy, grinding hardcore that, if it was 15 years ago, you might expect to hear on a Bovine, Pessimiser or Satan’s Pimp compilation. The bass has a great, gritty, leaden sound to it; the vocals sound like a pack of ravenous dogs and overall I’m minded of something that’s fully aware of such genres as ‘power violence’ and ‘sludge’ but just doesn’t want to muddy the waters too much. Think the likes of Triac, Full Of Hell or Thousandswilldie minus the weirder sidesteps, acts like Miserable Failure or maybe an updated Excruciating Terror. All sound good? Yeah, it is.
