Rough and fast hardcore punk, Die Wrecked play the same chords for 20 minutes whilst targeting various aspects of society. The lyrics to ‘Mongrel Hordes’ are very relevant in light of the EU referendum, despite this album being recorded two years ago. The lyrics have been translated into all sorts of other languages, I presume to highlight the strong multicultural ethos that the band has. That certainly shines through. I appreciate them telling it how they think it is but I always find such force-fed lyrics hard to stomach.
