Been a time since I last heard Endorphins Lost, but here they are again – still furious, still savage. There are 14 tracks here and they pass in a blur of merciless riffs, anguished vocals and lithe changes of pace, all wrapped in a palpable sense of sickened desperation. I think I’ve mentioned Capitalist Casualties in every review so far, but I just can’t get away from it – the sound and sentiment just feels too spot on. If you want a slightly fresher take, though, just imagine some sort of limb-mangling collision featuring Lack Of Interest and Coke Bust. It’s relentlessly grim and utterly lacking in light, but, hey, that makes it perfect for the times we live in – right?
