There’s no denying it, I’m just a sucker for this kind of hardcore: thick, gristly, full speed ahead and charged with a greasy sense of rock ‘n’ roll dissolution. The five tracks rip by in no time, hurtling along while lobbing out clogged-throat vocals, molotov cocktail solos and strings bent within an inch of their lives in roughly 35% of all riffs. Like Negative Approach duking it out with Zeke or Bl’ast! facing off against Burning Love it’s all going on and I love it – I can’t vouch for anything else the band have done at this stage, but I sure as heck want to dig back and see what else they’ve been up to.
