Cool eight-song blast from out of Spokane which, to me at least, harks back to the grubby, pummelling sounds of Bovine, Pessimiser and Satan’s Pimp. The lines between sludge, grind and power violence seep and bleed, with It’s A Setup (Bucket Full Of Teeth reference?) blasting like Excruciating Terror one moment and slugging relentlessly at your head a la Cavity or Eyehategod the next. Whatever they’re doing, though, you can bet there’ll be a miserable sample at some point, and the the singer will sounding like he wants to bite your fucking ear off. ‘Making A Killing’ is probably my favourite track here because it features some riffing that can only be described as ‘deadly’, but, honestly, it’s a superb package all-round and I NEED to hear more.
