God’s America start this thing off with a chugging instrumental called ‘Crunchriff Supreme’ – a title corny enough that it could be the name of a Taco Bell tie-in for one of those Scowl or Militarie Gun-type bands. There’s then a minute’s worth of fast, pounding hardcore that sounds like Capitalist Casualties on an off day before things close out with a nothingy Goober Patrol cover.

Flvx Capacitor cram 12 songs onto the other side, and thankfully make more of a dent. They play dense, ragged grindcore that mixes up early Carcass, early Napalm Death and early Brutal Truth: a clattering, guttural mess where discernible riffs occasionally arise like twisted souls breaking free from the burning shackles of hell. While chunks of it just blur giddily past, tracks like ‘Automaton’ and ‘Assault On Planet Earth’ throw some stuff into the mix that’s interesting enough to justify repeated ear-damaging listens.
