Quake in your boots puny Athenians! Lair of the Minotaur are back, blood-muzzled, cloven of hoof and yearning to feel your skull cave inward between their brutish man-paws”¦ One track is a head-on assault from start to finish; a torrent of barbaric metal coursing forth like oaths from the mouths of vengeful gods with roars of displeasure and riffs like thunderclaps forging a bloody fucking massacre of outrageous proportions. The other number winds and weaves with some John-Carpenter-gone-drone before launching into a sudden blast of bestial terror to round up and execute the walking wounded; savaging and defiling the not-quite-dead in one last gore-soaked frenzy that truly befits a band of such cruel and brutal talent. Monstrously good.
