Without A Country

To Live A Lie

Another ridiculously short EP that delivers the goods while it lasts (i.e. just under five minutes). The band dish out hefty, taut, mosh-inclined hardcore that possesses both depth and bounce, and I can imagine a room full of humans going off to it to the point that the venue looks and smells like a washing machine full of raw meat.

I’ve seen people mentioning power violence in the same breath as this release, but that doesn’t really track for me: it has the white-hot rage for sure, but sound-wise it reminds me more of Nails, Terror and Candy all sloshed together in a bucket. This is certainly no bad thing, though, and I’d more than enjoy another 15 minutes or so spent in their company.
