Here we have a good, solid, spinning-bird kick to the testicles that makes me wish I were enough of an old fogey to have been around when the first wave of “powerviolence” first took a massive shit over the music scene. Bookburner’s (un)healthy Man Is The Bastard worship even extends to appropriating their font, and there’s a mighty Bastard Noise-esque track in there too. With this kind of thing, you’d better get one thing right: B-R-U-T-A-L-I-T-Y. This is that times ten, and it made me mad as hell and want to flatten Tokyo Godzilla-style. What the 7″ format was designed for.
