Milton Melvin Croissant III - 7

Slightly oddball psych-folky 7″ here from a dude with an absolutely fantastic name. And he’s at least the third person to have this name apparently, three wonderful gents I’m sure. Anyway this is two songs, the first shares a name with a famous Led Zeppelin song (‘The Song Remains The Same’) which is of course better than the Led Zeppelin song on account of it not being Led Zeppelin. It’s all nicely psychedelic, trippy simple riffs repeated forever and echoey vocals sparsely fitted around them, music for the desert pretty much. The second song follows a similar path, so laid back I thought my stereo was going to nod off. Pretty cool 7″ all things told, will certainly dig it out again when the weather heats up and the days slow down.
