Weird one here from our pals at Ash From Sweat, a label more commonly associated with the emo delights of Bailer, Humble “Ary and the Green Fuse. This time out it’s full-on METAL we get, metal to the point the three folks involved actually have long hair and there’s a fucking wolf on the cover. A wolf! With double kick drum aplenty, ATG-inspired twiddles, acoustic interludes and a time-honoured vocal combo that pits low grumbles against high shrieks it’s all rather standard fare, solidly played but without bringing anything dazzlingly new to the fold or offering the kind of riffing / songsmithery / brutality that’d allow the metal-hungry hoards to forgive them their lack of originality.
