Really enjoyed this one, two songs of slackin’ indie rock, that Myspace suggests is from Chapel Hill, which you should allow to colour your opinion immediately. The title track slinks along, with a lovely thumping rhythm and careless vocals riding the wave. “Professionals” on the flip escapes out of a long winded, irrelevant intro and heads straight into a wall of messy guitar noise and slurred vocals. And harmonica. It’s a sloppy, lumpen mess of goodness that slumps to its conclusion a couple of minutes later.
If you are smitten by the likes of Beaten Awake then Spider Bags ought to make their way into your rotation too. Good seven, just need to track down the LP now.
