Now that Marked Men have given up the ghost (DO YOU SEE WHAT I DID THERE), you need a new band that meshes amateur punk with a bit of Ramones, and this 7″ from Maaster Gaiden (possibly some video game reference?) does just that. I guess if you were into that Mean Jeans seven on Dirtnap then this ought to please you also. It’s utterly dumb and simple and totally catchy. There are three songs and the cover of the record is the same picture as was on that Sleeper album, except they did some photoshopping. Now there’s a hip reference for all you young garage dudes!!!
