Heinous fucking artwork on display here, but don’t let that put you off cuz this is actually a bit of a rager. The backbone’s basically frantic, haywire 80s hardcore, but, since the folks involved have kicked it with the likes of Karp, Wrangler Brutes, Big Business and the Monorchid you don’t have to tax your brain too much in deciding whether or not the deck’ll be loaded with weirder goings-on than your average three-chord thrash. True enough, the occasional straggly, off-kilter guitar squawk or lurking, bulky bassline leaps screaming from the chaos to keep you on your toes while the third and final number is a tumbledown GISM cover done with enough crazed vigour to suggest Sakevi might even choose to leave off the revenge beatings for a day or two.
