Scummy, red-raw hardcore torn kicking, screaming and bleeding through the noise rock wringer here. Taking shit like Heroin and Born Against as building blocks things are kicked around a bit before being left out to warp and go crazy out in the burning sun, the bass reduced to crackling squelches and feedback tearing holes through everything else as it writhes and screams on the floor. It’s all impossibly ragged and barely seems capable of holding itself together, the title track hinting at No Trend while the two tracks that bolster it snap at each others heels like brisker, punkier takes on what Rusted Shut have been doing for the past however many years. Ugly, gnarled and fucking awesome with it – go seek.
