CREEM really want to be getting a mouthful of Jack Kelly’s bootleather circa 1982 but, hey, don’t we all? Think Negative FX, Jerry’s Kids, Last Rights and getting repeatedly punched in the head by a fucking moron. No-one could possibly deny the fact that it’s slavish as all heck, but what the hell: both tracks are mean little shitkickers and when the singer reels off the litany of things that piss him off during ‘I Hate You’s bitterly anthemic two-and-a-half-minutes you can’t help but actually believe the fucker.
