Sigh, I cant criticize it, it’s played well, there’s nothing wrong with it. It just sounds like ten a penny indie bands, who consider themselves ‘odd-pop’ but aren’t, because there are about two or three of them in every university. Its just one song so I cant really review them properly, they may have some absolute blinders.
It’s fine, but I wouldn’t buy their record or leave the bar to watch them. Actually that’s a lie, I would leave the bar, because you have to watch at least a song and a half before making a confirmed decision (Thomas Strawbridge!) but I imagine I would be back leaning on the bar like the tired old man I am fairly swiftly. Oh and two pages of press sheets for a release with one song on it? What a waste of time.
