This is like if you took Sonic Youth and stripped it right down to short punk songs done in a Sonic Youth way. I think this kind of thing is popular amongst the East London set at the moment? I don’t go and look over there very often, partly due to laziness, partly due to being a curmudgeon who resents most other people, and only really enjoys staying at home and playing Minecraft. This is really enjoyable to listen to, everything is distorted, loads of echo all over the vocals, very tuneful songs. It’s Thurston Moore’s bits without the freak outs. Some really nice drum bits too. Good stuff.
