The fact that these are Color TV’s demo recordings should be enough to make 99% of other bands trying their hand at garage rock/power pop give up and go home. Herein you get four tracks of sharp, spiky, ultra-catchy stuff that bring to mind Carbonas, the Marked Men and early Buzzcocks, each one frothing over with neat hooks and a sense of smouldering desperation. It’s bloody great, really, and that’s about all there is to say!
