For a two-piece, Greber sure make an admirable racket. The bass coils and curls, the drums don’t stop and much ugliness is expelled through mouth, throat and nose. The grinding, busted-shoulder-socket sludginess is tempered by whipstrike smarts, and for comparison I’m looking to the likes of Coalesce, Vaz, Knut and KEN mode. Match this with a broodingly monochromatic sense of bleakness and we have ourselves a bit of a winner for sure.
