More thick, gristly, death metal-influenced hardcore (or hardcore-influenced death metal?) from Maryland brutes Neolithic. Seems this time around the hc influences have been dragged a bit more to the fore, with the three songs exhibiting more by way of lunging dynamic than straight-up pummel. Bands like Hierophant, All Pigs Must Die and The Secret are reasonable points of reference, and while it’s not top tier stuff it’s still stodgily satisfying in its own way.
