Labels: Boss Tuneage – Flexipunk

Demo-to-vinyl time for Boston’s Pandemix, who’ve had their five-track cassette plonked onto a paper-thin slice of plastic by Boss Tuneage offshoot Flexipunk. The sound is a weird one, but definitely weird in a good way: hectoring, caustic, buzzsaw punk that somehow brings together The Subhumans (UK), The Crucifucks and the first Chumbawumba 7″. The sound is thin, snarky and grating but still packs a considerable punch, making for a neat dose of antisocial punk rock goodness.
