I don’t listen to screamo that much these days but I still enjoy it when I do and remain enthused when I stumble across new bands that play well. Bethari, from Singapore, are one such band and though this demo was released two years ago it deserves a review. Fast and furious, they clearly take their influences from the Far East style of screamo that became “popular” ten or so years ago, who in turn were basically all trying to copy Orchid. Bethari are pretty damn good at doing this and race through 8 songs in 6 minutes. A worthy listen.
