Here we have two hella noisy but very different Wisconsin bands on piss yellow vinyl, which is something you don’t get every day (unless you live in Wisconsin I suppose). Murder Of Crows bring some swingy and raucous noise-rock which doesn’t quite stick in my gullet as much as I’d like it to, but it does has a bunch of cool riffs jammed together with wanton abandon. Copeater (a name which certainly conjures up an interesting mental image) are an absolutely foul two-man grind outfit that completely shred with their ferocious clutch of tracks here. It’s almost too harsh at times, making it tough to make out what the hell’s going on, but it certainly got my pulse racing.
