The front cover reminds me of that Smashing Pumpkins album, ‘Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness’. I quite like it.

Remember when emo, wasn’t old emo like Indian Summer, but also wasn’t emo like My Chemical Romance. Remember when emo was bands like Jets to Brazil, Jimmy Eat World, and the Get Up Kids? These four gents do. I guess its ‘pop rock'(?)
It’s a good example of Jimmy Eat World-esque music, There’s several mentions of Smashing Pumpkins in the bio, but I can’t hear it.

There’s were several bands like this in Exeter. Really good at playing, songs well crafted, always ‘professional’, had things like ‘agents’, but never going where they wanted i.e. to the heady heights of fame. It never felt like they really liked playing alternative music, more did it in the hope of getting somewhere. Liberation Pact do sound a bit more convincing. Although having a ‘radio edit’ is daft.
